MORISSET Park pedal-pusher Jack Moir has added the Under-17 NSW Downhill Mountain Bike Championship to his growing list of victories.

Moir, 16, recently defeated a field of 59 riders on a wet and slippery track at Lithgow to win his division in a time of 3 minutes, 1.39 seconds.

The time was fast enough to have placed the teenager in the top five of the elite men's division.

Moir recently capped a remarkably consistent year on the bike by winning the State Downhill Mountain Bike Series.
